The Korean Society of Costume Jeong Jeongwan Award

The Korean Society of Costume Jeong Jeongwan Award was established by the Commemoration Foundation of Jeongwan Jeong, the first Chimsonjang (a holder of the Important Intangible Cultural Heritage No.89), with the Chairman of the Board Soonhoon Jeong. It is intended to award those who have contributed to the development of Korean customes.

The Korean Society of Costume Son Kyeongja Award

The Son Kyeongja Academic Award was established to promote academic development in Korea’s costumes by discovering new scholars in the field. It is intended to award those who have contributed to academic development through outstanding academic research outcomes.

The Korean Society of Costume Yoo Songok Award

The Yoo Songok Academic Award was established to discover new scholars in the field of Korean costume history. It is intended to award those who have contributed to academic development through outstanding academic research outcomes.

The Korean Society of Costume Park Myunghee KOSCO Award

The Park Myunghee KOSCO Award is intended to award those who have contributed to the development of fashion design.

The Korean Society of Costume Excellent Journal Jury Award

The Excellent Journal Jury Award is to express gratitude to the jury, who have contributed to the development of academic journals through outstanding dissertation examinations.

The Korean Society of Costume Outstanding Thesis Presentation Award

  • Objectives: The Outstanding Thesis Presentation Award is intended to reward the originality of the content of the thesis and its contribution to academic development.

KOSCO Best Piece Award

  • Objectives: To nurture talent in the field of costume design by discovering talented authors in the field and award those who have created outstanding pieces that will add value to Korea’s costume industry.
